Mother’s Day Weekend & Blossom Tour - May 9
& 10 (10am-4pm)
Take your mother out to the farm to go on an orchard blossom tour wagon
ride. Check out our greenhouses and pick out a hanging basket or a geranium.
We have tons of herbs & bedding plants as well. Free plant for mom!
Father’s Day Herb Weekend - June 20 & 21 (10am-4pm)
This is a weekend devoted to the useful herb plant. We will have a wide
variety of herbs to choose from and suggestions on how to use them. Our
greenhouses will be open. Free herb plant for Dad this weekend!
Peach Party - August 8 & 9 (12-5pm)
In the heart of our peach season we will share a taste of our family’s
homemade peach shortcake, using white and yellow varieties of this splendid
fruit.
Corn & Tomato Festival - August 29 & 30 (12-5pm)
Join us in celebrating the great taste of fresh, locally grown sweet corn
and tomatoes. We will have over 10 varieties of heirloom tomatoes available
for you to taste and compare to contemporary varieties. We will also be
boiling and roasting corn on the cob for you to sample all afternoon.
85th Anniversary Party-September 12 & 13 (11AM - 5PM)
Come join us for the real “kick-off” to the pick-your-own
MacIntosh season. We will have wagon rides, fresh cider and a free taste
of Jane’s and Skye’s homemade apple crisp. The apples can’t
get any better than this.
Heritage Homecoming and Farm Day-October 3 & 4 (All Day)
Our pick your own pumpkin patch will be open today! We will be giving
free tours today, reflecting the history of our farm as part of the unique
history of the Blackstone Valley. Apple picking !
Pumpkin Fest-October 24 & 25 (All Day)
Lots of great activities today for kids of all ages. Decorate your own
pumpkin. Take your picture with Frankenstein. All kids will get a free
mini pumpkin today. Wagon rides to the pick your own pumpkin patch. Pick
your own apples.
Apple Tasting-November 7 & 8 (1PM - 5PM)
We will slice up our wide variety of apples(many from antique cultivars)
for your tasting pleasure. Historical data will be provided when known.
Delicious mulled cider served at no charge. Time to order your Thanksgiving
Day pies!
“A Taste of Historic Sutton” Chain of Lights Celebration -
December 5
This town wide celebration features trolley rides and holiday spirit.
Once again our selection of the very special and odd varieties of apples
will be set out to temp you. This is a great time to start your holiday
shopping for family and friends. Christmas trees, roping and Jane’s
handmade wreaths are in!
